SIENA, Italy — Alex Zanardi, the Italian automobile racing champion-turned-Paralympic gold medalist, was transferred to a neurological rehabilitation middle Tuesday, a month following acquiring severely wounded in a handbike crash.
The Siena hospital that had been treating Zanardi since the June 19 crash declared that the athlete had been produced but, in accordance with Zanatrdi’s relatives, did not say in which he was taken.
