The crew received its title (“20-Three Eleven Racing”)  from Jordan’s retired Chicago Bulls amount and the #11 Toyota Camry of crew co-proprietor and associate Denny Hamlin. The one auto will be pushed solely by Wallace, who is the only Black driver at this time competing in NASCAR’s premier Cup Series.

Wallace has advocated for racial inclusion and the removing of long-standing Confederate symbolism in the activity and found himself in the spotlight last 12 months when a crew member described that a doorway pull at Talladega was tied like a noose, even more drawing awareness to NASCAR’s deep relationship to the American south and its troubled heritage.
