
New Delhi: World’s largest two wheeler maker Hero MotoCorp on Thursday claimed it will hike the ex-showroom selling prices across the variety of motorcycles and scooters up to INR. 3,000, from September 20, 2021. The precise quantum of enhance will count on the design and the industry.
This will be the two-wheeler maker’s 3rd price tag hike in a yr subsequent revisions in April and July.
“The price tag hike has been necessitated to offset the affect of steadily expanding commodity selling prices,” the automaker claimed in a statement.
“With various constructive indicators, the business stays optimistic about desire as it gears up for the future festive season,” the statement included.
In August 2021, the business clocked 431,137 device product sales in the domestic industry, down 24% from 568,674 units in August 2020.
In the PV segment, various carmakers like Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors have also raised selling prices on their motor vehicle models thanks to enhance in raw materials selling prices.
