The paperwork in problem have lists of purposes of various components, identifying the aforementioned designs by their inside codes: DT (Ram 1500), JL (present Wrangler), JT (Gladiator), WL (Grand Cherokee), and WS (Wagoneer). These designs are all reported to use the higher-output version of the Twister engine, a three.-liter inline-six with turbocharged help, possibly with mild-hybrid integration. There is no word however on just how substantially electrical power this new engine will create, but it’s believed that in two states of tune, it will replace each the 303-horsepower Pentastar V6 and the 375-hp Hemi V8. The latter generates up to 395 hp and 410 lb-ft in the Ram 1500 with the eTorque mild-hybrid motor, so the higher output version of the Twister could make near to people outputs.
