Ken Block Turns Las Vegas Into Audi S1 Hoonitron Playground

For the initial time ever, Ken Block and the popular Gymkhana collection goes electric powered. Females and gents, welcome to Electrickhana.

Ken Block has made ten wildly thriving Gymkhana movies with more than a billion sights on YouTube where he flexes his astounding driving abilities at the rear of the wheel of fairly major machines. All of these machines right until now run on fossil fuels.

Ken Block and Hoonigan are having the Audi S1 Hoonitron to the large-stakes playground of Las Vegas for their all-new online video.

The S1 Hoonitron reportedly has 6,000 Nm (4,425 lb-ft) of torque which is no match for these poor tyres.

The movie description suggests it runs an 800-volt method and whilst there is no point out of the energy it does not seriously make any difference.

The Audi S1 Hoonitron has two electric motors, all-wheel travel, power galore, a carbon fiber chassis, and completely complies with the safety benchmarks of the FIA, motorsport’s governing body. Audi Sport developed it as a 1-of-a-variety motor vehicle solely for Ken Block. Its system shell, for which Audi Style led by Marc Lichte is accountable, quickly evokes reminiscences of the famous Audi Activity quattro S1 with which the 4 rings billed to the leading in the popular Pikes Peak hill-climb race. Ken Block and his team engaged in near exchange with the Audi departments during the development of the auto.

“With the S1 Hoonitron we broke solely new floor at Audi,” suggests Oliver Hoffmann, Member of the Board for Complex Growth at AUDI AG. “Developing a thoroughly electrical prototype for the special specifications of our companion Ken Block was a significant and thrilling challenge to which the full staff rose with flying shades. It is great to see how ‘Vorsprung durch Technik’ is presented in an all-new environment.”
