BERLIN — Switzerland’s Quantum Team explained its bid for Volkswagen Group’s Lamborghini division could change the athletics-automobile brand into a “spearhead of innovation” in technology and cleanse electrical power.
The freshly-founded investor explained on Wednesday its proposed acquisition “would deliver eye-catching value to all shareholders and … would plainly be a vital strategic reward to the broader Volkswagen Team.”
VW explained on Tuesday that Lamborghini was not for sale, in reaction to a report that Quantum Team experienced, together with London-dependent Centricus Asset Administration, bid seven.5 billion euros ($9.two billion) to obtain Lamborghini.
Quantum Team founding associate Rea Stark is also co-founder of Piech Car with Toni Piech, the son of former Volkswagen Chairman Ferdinand Piech, in accordance to its web page.
