Ryan Newman treated by NASCAR paramedic 35 seconds after crash

LAS VEGAS — A paramedic was dealing with Ryan Newman within his vehicle 35 seconds immediately after the ruined and flaming auto came to rest immediately after a crash on the very last lap of the Daytona 500.

NASCAR gave a short timeline Saturday of the response to Monday night’s airborne incident that was so startling many motorists feared him dead.
